Trading Cards

I really do hate getting sucked into new transformers lines. For a while now I've been hearing about trading cards for them. Didn't think twice. Thought the pics were really cool, but not really my style. Magic/Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh! didn't entice me at all to run out and buy them. My daughter owns a few dozen Pokemon cards only because I got her into the show. Opening up the packs was exciting just to see her face when she got a Pokemon she knows lol! For me it was eh, not bad. More to see the look on her face, and squeal that she got a Bulbasaur :)

Transformers now had to come out with a trading card game. UGH!! Up until yesterday when I was walking in Target I saw a large display stand promoting it. Of course I stopped to look at it. Come running is this guy, no lie, from a basement. Beard just as long as Gandalf!! Smelled musty as hell! Kindly moves me to grab a handful of these packs. I stood there in disbelief wondering what just happened. Believe it or not he got my attention. It's like that spark from The Flash touched me, and told me "Pete, you MUST buy them!"
I grabbed a few. I also picked up the started kit that has Optimus/Bumblebee/Red Alert/Iron Hide. Threw them on the couch in the basement for a rainy day to open them up.
Let's jump to now...I bought a box haha

I own 24 of the 40 Character cards, and 68 of the 81 battle cards. Ahhhhhh!!!! And the searching will now begin. As Pokemon would say...

"Gotta catch them all!"
