A wonderful surprise happened on Saturday...Siege Apeface was available to purchase through Amazon!! I haven't had the chance to open him up. Really I haven't had much time to open up the 20 others that are comfortably piled up in The Vault. Honestly, I was content I wasn't getting any new transformers until the beginning of the year. There are always new surprises in this TF world. If everything stays the way it is, I shouldn't see anything new this year. Hasbro, you listening to me?! Christmas is coming I need to save up for my daughter lol

Jetfire has always been a fan favorite of the TF community. No matter the year he seems to be the most wanted. We have had some pretty significant variations of him. 2019 has given us the most cartoon accurate Jetfire you could possibly own, FINALLY! Not only the detail, and the mold, but the size! Add the Toyhax stickers to him, and the detail just makes him impossible to not own. In my opinion he fits right into the Siege line accuracy height. He is the first ever Commander class bot. It's really nice to see that he has been given some real love into making him as close as possible to a G1 resemblance. Takara/Hasbro collaboration is stunning! I will give them all the money needed to keep this up! I'm totally sucked into their memorizing bots. And now the Earthrise line is coming early next year....Yikes!
Today I wanted to take the time to talk about the Siege line that has most, if not all of the TF Fans going berserk. I for one is high on the plastic crack that they have been releasing. I almost never buy redeco's of any bot, unless it's a mold I absolutely love. In the Siege line...I must have them all!! The partnership between Takara, and Hasbro is phenomenal thinking. They have finally combined to give us the best of the best toys ever to be produced. Hands down this line is the best. It gives us the accuracy that we have been waiting for, for a very, very long time. Yeah, the "war paint" silver splashing could have been done away with, but it works! It actually has a certain characteristic look that has given the bots they have never had. It's war people! They have been fighting for galactic cycles to save their world from the one another.
The quality is excellent. I have yet to have that "breakage" look when transforming. Past lines, no doubt I was squeamish about transforming my bots. The masterpiece line...forget it! I didn't want to take them out of the boxes I was so afraid lol. The characters that are being released is mind blowing! We have gotten or will be getting ones that have never been released since their G1 ancestors. OMEGA SUPREME!!! This line also gave us the last of the fembots. If I remember correctly, Greenlight, and Lancer also have never been produced. I know for a fact we were eagerly awaiting their releases to complete Orthia. I am on pace to collect the entire Siege/Generations Selects line (minus the battlemasters) I don't care of them right now. I will look back, and say I wish I collected them lol As most if not all of you know that Redwing is a Target exclusive that you could only buy using your REDcard. I know other sites like Robotkingdom, Ebay, TFsource are selling him, but at that moment when he was released you could ONLY acquire him through Target REDcard purchases. Me being a Transformaniac...HAD to have him immediately! Thank you life for giving me a family, otherwise, I wouldn't have a REDcard. Since then he's been chilling next to Starscream. Recently, Toyhax gave him a nice needed upgrade to break up the red colored jet.
I've been chasing Shockwaves forces for 3 weeks straight now! I read online that someone had found them in a local store (Target Exc.), and I bolted faster than you can imagine to get a hold of them. Total bust! I was angry...I asked the stock boy what was the deal, even to the point of giving him the stocking number. They didn't exist. Hmmmm.....I wondered if they were a myth at one point. I was going there on a daily basis. I went to a few Targets A LOT. I gave up on chasing them for a couple of days. I made sure I researched anybody that was acquiring him, or even selling them. There were a few on Ebay, but they wanted $130-$180!!! Come on people that just isn't right! Scalpers suck. They ruin the run of chasing bots, and just make the TF fans angry when we know we can find them for stock price at some point. All that put aside, I have the rainmakers in hand! Phew! Not sure how long these boys are going to be around, it's nice to get these quadruple jets over, and done with early.
Exact same bot, but two different names. Japan calls him Stepper, US calls him Ricochet. Honestly Ricochet sounds much cooler lol. Here is my Ricochet with Toyhax labels. Excellent job! I highly recommend this set. The gold finish makes this the perfect looking Ricochet to be made outside of his G1 model.
New edition Lancer added to the party! I figured I needed to incorporate all the female autobots, so I added Windblade from the generations line also.
WOW!!!! I'm sure the whole TF Universe has seen this bad boy with eyes like Tom & Jerry hahaha The deal is that Hasbro needs to have 8,000 commitments by August, 31st to start production. The big issue is that he is going to cost you $575!! I'm assuming that is not including shipping. That is a very hefty price tag on a figure that is 27" tall!
Don't get me wrong; he is absolutely amazing!!! The detail is incredible, the colors, the size, everything about it is what we have ever imagined the king of destruction should be. I'd love to display him behind all my masterpieces looking down on them with complete disgust ready to annihilate their population. Too bad that isn't going to happen...I'm hoping (along with many of my TF friends) that someone will 3rd party him, and cost much, much cheaper. In my opinion, if he was around the $300 price tag A LOT more people would be interested. Hell! I would be a "backer" 1st in line! Either case he is currently reaching the 1k mark of backers right now. With 46 days left it will be interesting if he makes it to production. I don't think there are that many out there that are willing to shell out that kid of cash for him. Who knows...I'll be watching it every week. Here are the 6 of the 7 female Autobots for the Generations line over 5 years in the making. Arcee being the 1st when she was released in 2014 part of the thrilling thirty line. Unless they release another one this is the closest you are going to get to a G1 generations scale accurate Arcee. Only 4 of them are the combiner parts to make up Orthia. Once Lancer shows up, I will add her to the party, and re-post it.
We have been patiently waiting for over a year now to complete our first ever G1 female combiner. If i remember correctly we got Eltia-1 first. Moonracer, and then Novastar (aka Firestar). TF fans were definitely getting excited because we knew we were getting a female combiner FINALLY of all the G1 women! Well then chromia comes out...what a disappointment. They retooled her to not have the combiner port. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!??? And that excitement became anger...What are you thinking Hasbro!? You were given the perfect opportunity to finish this up, and you blew it! So months later out of no where Greenlight shows up on an Amazon Exclusive buy! WOW! Buy, Buy, Buy!! Not only did she have the combiner port, she comes with a battlemaster! Awesome one too! Here we are today with 4 of the 5 combiner girls: Elita-1 Moonracer Novastar Greenlight Of course, just in, we get a shining light from the TF gods that we are getting this little lady The final piece to our female combiner!!!!!! Poor Chromia shes just going to have to sit this one out. I'm sure someone will figure out how to make her the 6th part of Orthia as a weapon of some sort. No details as of yet. But this is living proof that we can finish Orthia off without using other transformers combiner bots. Stay tuned as I will be updating pics of the currently released female bots.
